«محمدرضا عارف» در پی بارش شدید برف و باران و وقوع سیلاب در استان گیلان، در تماس تلفنی با استاندار ضمن کسب اطلاع از وضعیت این استان، از آخرین اقدامات انجام شده برای مقابله با مشکلات پیش آمده و امدادرسانی به مردم آسیب‌دیده آگاه شد.
«هادی حق‌شناس» استاندار گیلان نیز گزارشی از آخرین وضعیت استان، میزان بارش برف و باران و مشکلات ایجاد شده و نیز اقدامات انجام شده توسط دستگاه‌های امدادی و خدمات‌رسان ارائه کرد.
معاون اول رئیس‌جمهور ضمن تاکید بر بسیج تمامی امکانات برای حل مشکلات مردم، دستورات لازم را برای تسریع در روند امدادرسانی و بازگشایی راه‌ها صادر کرد.
عارف همچنین بر لزوم هماهنگی بین دستگاه‌های مختلف و اطلاع‌رسانی دقیق به مردم تاکید کرد.
به گفته مدیرکل مدیریت بحران استان گیلان، بارش شدید باران و برف در این استان از روز گذشته آغاز و براساس پیش‌بینی سازمان هواشناسی تا روز دوشنبه ادامه خواهد یافت؛ میزان بارش‌ها به حدی است که به ویژه در محورهای کوهستانی از جمله جاده رشت - قزوین امکان عبور و مرور را با مشکل مواجه کرده است.
گفتنی است، طی شبانه روز گذشته بیشترین بارندگی استان در شهرستان آستارا با ۱۵۰ میلی متر و در مرکز استان تا کنون ۸۵ میلیمتر بوده که منجر به آبگرفتگی ۲ منطقه مسکن مهر و دیانتی این شهر شده است و هم اینک نیروهای خدماتی در حال رفع مشکلات هستند.
